Barbie girls, unite! Join Blogger Ginger Harris at The Local House at The Sense Beach House Hotel for “The Art of Barbie” — a cool collection of Harris’ Barbie photography (pictured here). Harris will host and present 20 of her favorite photographs she’s taken of America’s Sweetheart. Pink cocktails and playful nibbles will flow all afternoon. The Third Annual StyleMarket Art Basel Edition runs December 6 to 8, which also launches their new location for the New Year. Think three days of art, music and fashion created by locals. During Art Basel, Lacoste is turning over their Lincoln Road windows to artist Mark A. Reigelman II. Reigelman will install his site-specific art piece which draws its inspiration from the curious diet of American crocodiles. Think thousands of black rocks suspended in the boutique’s windows. Intending to remind guests and Basel-goers to stay healthy and happy amidst a week that grows more intense annually, Morgans Hotel Group collaborates with online art retail destination Grey Area and lululemon on Yoga With Friends, a series of exclusive, limited edition yoga mats by seven artists ($90 each) and daily outdoor yoga classes at Delano, Shore Club and Mondrian South Beach. 

Also at Mondrian South Beach, the famous Semi Automatic + BASE 24/7 retail vending machine will house all new items via BASE + FURIA + TOKYO. The ongoing retail collaboration will debut the first of December and sell various items united by a nod to the sensibility and quirkiness of Tokyo design ($20 to $500).

HEARTSREVOLUTION, the duo known for pop music with an edge, will bring their Pop He(art) Swarovski encrusted truck to Miami for its first voyage outside of NYC.
