Here in Miami, we’ll jump at any chance to put on a costume and get into character: music festivals, Art Basel, a Saturday night at Space. Halloween is practically our Christmas. And because we know you’ve been planning your outfit since last year, we’ve put together a list of parties and events where you can get your ghoul on. Here’s to celebrating the most spooktacular time of the year with plenty of brujaja. Get it?

1. HE11EVEN Apocalypse at E11EVEN

Art Basel parties

Starting October 25, E11EVEN will count down to Halloween with performances by artists including Joe Maz, Fat Joe, Carnage, Laidback Luke, Mister Gray, Yissel and Wasabi. You’ll find a full lineup for the week here

2. Anime Bash at Pubbelly Sushi Dadeland

Pubbelly Sushi Dadeland hosts a Japanese anime-themed party. Everyone gets to dress up as their favorite anime character for the night and guests of all ages can chow down on delicious house favorites such as the butter crab roll, warm edamame, traditional Japanese miso soup and sip on themed drinks while a DJ spins.

3. Halloweek at KINGS Dining & Entertainment Doral

This Doral hotspot will transform into a haunted hangout all week long with free Halloween treats for kids and ghoulish decor across the venue.

4. Alice in 1Derland at 1 Hotel South Beach

At the 1 Hotel South Beach’s Rooftop, you can venture down the rabbit hole during an Alice and Wonderland themed Halloween party, in partnership with Veuve Clicquot. We’re talking grass walls, cage dancers, and whimsical-wacky decor. Costumes are encouraged, and the event is free with RSVP.

Head to Wynwood’s favorite food hall for tunes all night by DJs A-train, Louie, Arson, Silent Addy, Maneuvers, and SIRE. And make sure you rock a costume because prizes will be given to the best dressed.

6. Foxhole

Foxhole is hosting it’s 3rd annual Halloween Costume Contest and the prizes are epic. First place will receive $1,000 in cash, second place will receive $500 in cash, and third place will receive a $250 bar tab. The first 50 people to RSVP under early bird tickets will be automatically entered for a chance to win a complimentary bottle the night of the event. Winners will be decided based on audience applause.

7. Beetle Juice Movie Under the Stars at Atton Brickell

Cozy up on the rooftop at Atton Brickell for a low-key Halloween night filled with plenty of onscreen thrills watching Beetle Juice under the stars.

8. Monster Mash Bash at JohnMartin's Restaurant & Pub

The Super Fuzz

Coral Gables’ iconic spot JohnMartin’s Restaurant & Pub is hosting their 29th annual Halloween shindig, complete with themed cocktails, costume contests and prizes, face painting for kids during the day and live music by The Super Fuzz from 8 p.m. – midnight. The theme this year is Monster Mash Bash.

9. Lincoln Road

If you don’t want to commit to a specific event or want to get in some great people-watching beforehand, there’s no better place than Lincoln Road. Every year on Halloween, the mile-long shopping strip transforms into Miami Beach’s biggest costume block party, complete with live music, performers, and more. It’s family-friendly during the day, but the grown-ups tend to take over after sundown.

10. Halloween Yappy Hour at Portico

Time to dress up your doggo — Portico at The Diplomat Beach Resort will host a special Halloween edition “Yappy Hour” featuring a costume contest for canines and their companions. The most creatively dressed duo will win. You’ll also get to enjoy $5 food, drinks, and well liquor cocktails.

11. Day of the Dead at Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar

Every Rocco’s Tacos location will celebrate Dia de Los Muertos with face painting, a live DJ and spooky surprises — not to mention drink specials like $6 house margaritas and $4 Mexican draft beers.

12. HalloWYN

The Purge is on at HalloWYN for Halloween 2017.SWARM

Wynwood’s annual free Halloween party returns with multiple bars (one of them will be bursting with flames all night!), signature cocktails, costume contests, local food vendors and DJs including Miami’s own DJ Irie.

13. Cantina La Veinte

Cantina La Veinte will transform into a haunted house on Halloween. The best part? Ladies get to enjoy free margaritas from 5-10 p.m. at the bar. Wear a costume, because there will be a contest and the grand prize is $500 in cash plus a 10-year aged bottle of Bacardi. The runner-up will receive a $200 gift card and an 8-year aged bottle of Bacardi. Third place gets a $100 gift card and a 4-year aged bottle.

15. Dia de los Muertos at Lolo's Surf Cantina

16. Day of the Dead and Night of the Dead Festival

Fort Lauderdale’s  Day of the Dead Festival kicks off Friday, Nov. 2 with a Skeleton Processional through Riverwalk with more than 50 giant puppets and 2000 skeletons leading the way. Authentic Latin American traditions and the culture of Dia de los Muertos are presented in this family friendly festival, featuring the Folklorico and Aztec Stages hosting mariachi music, street performers, Mexican cuisine at the Muertos Street Festival, art in the Craft Crypt, the Fort Lauderdale History Center’s Ofrendas Exhibition and much more.

Saturday is the Night of the Dead, a music festival starring the ultimate Grateful Dead tribute experience from Dark Star Orchestra, plus musical performances by Galactic and Bobby Lee Rodgers Trio plus the Revolution Live Street Party, open to all ages. The official late-night after party is inside Revolution Live. Tickets $25-$85.
