Dine out and do good Sunday, March 7 as the Fertile Earth Foundation hosts a Feast on the Farm dinner at Homestead’s Paradise Farms. Think of the event as the ultimate green fundraiser – farm to table and back to farm. The three-course vegetarian dinner will be prepared entirely with organic local ingredients while proceeds benefit Fertile Roots Miami, a food composting project created with the City of Miami. Four of Miami’s favorite eco-friendly chefs are co-creating and preparing the menu (not yet released): Amarylis Guindin, (Galerie Gourmet), Lynn Moulton (Area 31), Dionette Kalkhofer (OmGarden) and Micah Edelstein (Grass). Start the evening at 5pm with eco-friendly VeeV cocktails and a tour of the 11-year-old five-acre organic farm. Savor the meal then break out your wallets for a silent auction featuring spa, restaurant and hotel packages. $100 per person, reservations are required, click here.
