The Navigator is Biscayne Bay Brewing’s newest offering.

Having celebrated its first anniversary in October, Biscayne Bay Brewing is doing anything but slowing down.

They’re busy cranking out new beers. Their latest, The Navigator, a variation of a doppelbock style, is a dark, full-bodied German bock lager with hints of caramel, dark fruit and spice. It’s available in 22-ounce bottles and in the taproom.

Concrete Beach

Concrete Beach Deck The Walls

Save the date because on Nov. 18 during its Deck the Walls event, Concrete Beach will be relaunching the namesake beer. It will be available on draft throughout Wynwood.

Concrete Beach will also be selling four packs of the big, flavorful spiced imperial porter at the brewery. With aromas of cinnamon, cardamom and ginger balanced by roasted chocolate malt notes, it’s complex with a clean finish and the perfect pairing for holiday celebrations.

J. Wakefield

The force has definitely been with the brewers at J. Wakefield, they of the Star Wars fandom. They just released cans of their flagship Hefeweizen El Jefe, as well as 24th Street Brown Ale, Frank White (a Northeastern-style IPA brewed with pineapples), Hops 4 Teacher IPA and Amber Waves amber ale.

They’re releasing a brand new IPA, The Rigorous, a Northeastern-style IPA brewed with Mosaic & Galaxy hops.

“We are starting to can our Flagship (year-round) beers, to see how the market reacts with the core brands that our community has known and come to love on draft,” said Alex Gutierrez, brand director and tap room manager. “Now they will be able to take these core brands home and enjoy them anywhere they please.”

NightLife Brewing Co.

NightLife just started brewing the fourth and final beer in its signature lineup, the 90 Mile Pale Ale, which will be ready and available in early November.

It is a collaborative beer with Blue Blood Brewing Company in Lincoln, Nebraska. The pale ale is hoppy, light and refreshing. Suggested pairing: a crisp salad and classic barbecue fare.

The name, 90 Mile Pale Ale, is a nod to the 90 miles between Cuba and Miami (cofounders John Cooper and Juan O’Naghten are Cuban-American), and the plight of the Cuban people who fled in the ’60s during the Cuban revolution.

Veza Sur Brewing

Later this month, Wynwood’s newest brewery is set to debut its double IPA during their brewery tours on Nov. 16 and 17.

That will be followed by a Friendsgiving beer release on Nov. 19. The beer is described as having a big malty body topped by fresh, citrusy hop perfume and a bitter finish. Brewmaster Asbjorn Gerlach said, “This is a twist on an heirloom recipe from our brewer Steve’s old family brewery in Philly.”

Wynwood Brewing

The neighborhood’s veteran brewery recently released Stiglitz, a dry-hopped imperial Marzen, and there are “many other exciting beers coming down the pipeline,” said Taproom General Manager Marc Sussman.

For instance: the just-released Goldman Xtra Gold, an imperial pilsner that’s dry-hopped with Vic Secret hops for a strong pilsner with a hoppy finish. Several others will be announced around Black Friday.
