Bands, drinks and Chipotle at Bayfront Park

Bands such as Captial Cities will headline, as will chefs such as Michelle Bernstein

Chipotle wants to talk about serious food seriously.

Oh, but it’s also bringing plenty to eat and drink — and music.

The first Chipotle Cultivate Festival in Miami Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Bayfront Park, will include chef chats about the food supply and cooking demos from several big names, including Michelle Bernstein, Michael Schwartz, Amanda Freitag and Adrianne Calvo. Plus there will be plenty of eats from Chipotle’s own stable of burritos and tacos

The day-long event also includes live music, led by the Los Angeles band Capital Cities.

The chefs will discuss ways to make positive changes in the nation’s food supply. They hope to bring awareness and demonstrate the impact food has on society and the importance of food that is raised right.

The event is free. Food, beer and wine can be purchased individually, from Chipotle ($5-$7) and many other options from local food vendors.
