Stereo Miami Weekend

This weekend the Madrid based, electronic music powerhouse company, Stereo Productions Group, is headed to South Beach and bringing their Iberian House sounds with them. It’s Stereo Miami Weekend where special guests Abel Ramos and David Penn are going to be taking over the turntables at CAMEO and Mansion to celebrate the anniversary of Ten Years in Stereo.

Stereo Productions was formed back in 2000 when Carlos Calico, the creator and owner of DJA (Deejay Agency and Management), combined with DJ Pablo Ceballos create a company that focuses on artist management and promotions along with music production. Under Stereo Productions there are nine distinct brands that cater to different sounds and various artists.

Some of the artists that have been affiliated with Stereo Productions include big names such as Chus & Ceballos, Richie Santana, Danny Tenaglia, and Miami’s own Patrick M, to name just a few. As a brand they released over 200 albums in the last decade including mix albums, samplers, and originally produced LP’s. With all the success they’ve had in last ten years it’s time to celebrate.

Friday night get Digital with Stereo Production Artist Abel Ramos as he kicks off the high energy, electro filled weekend at Cameo nightclub alongside resident Christian Falero with a night full of sensational house beats. Born in 1973, Ramos started his career when he was only 15 years old. Known throughout Europe as one of the top DJ’s in Spain, Abel Ramos earned the title of Best National DJ by Spain’s Deejay Mag. Earlier this month he was featured on the latest album from DJ BorisBelieve in Music, and is currently in the process of creating his own record label.

Whether he’s in the studio or on the turntables Abel Ramos is dedicated to his music and is quickly on his way towards becoming an international star. If you love house, keep him on your DJ list, it won’t be long before he blows up on the scene. Friday night see for yourself why legendary DJ Roger Sanchez named Abel Ramos his Breakthrough DJ/Producer of 2009 when you party with him at CAMEO on South Beach.

Saturday, the party continues at Mansion as special guest DJ David Penn takes on some of the sexiest music-loving, table dancing socialites alongside resident Laurent Simeca. The Spanish dance producer is the founder of the electronic record label Urbana Recordings and is one of the most sought after DJs in Spain. In 2006 he was given the award for Best Label followed by a 2007 award for Best House Production for his track, “From the Stars” under the artist name Montilla by Spain’s Deejay Mag. With over fifteen years in the industry, David Penn has solidified his place as one of Spain’s leading producers and continues to rock the world with his energetic sound.
