Best Wynwood Happy Hours

Every Miamian knows that happy hour (like brunch) is a sacred ritual, as part of our daily routines like that 3 p.m. carb run at the office. This week, instead of hitting your go-to watering hole, head to Wynwood and check out any one of these must-hit happy hours in the Art District.

1. El Patio

If you’re into Latin beats, al fresco lounging, and $1 beers, look no further than Wynwood’s newest hot spot, El Patio. Designed to simulate somebody’s patio somewhere in Latin America, the bar and restaurant offers happy hour specials daily from $4 well drinks and daily craft cocktails, to $4 buckets of beer (each bucket comes with 4 beers). If you come on a Sunday, enjoy bottles of Veuve for $150 and homemade Sancocho.

When: Mondays all night starting at 6 p.m., Tuesday – Thursday from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m. – 9 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Where: 167 NW 23rd Street, Miami

2. Beaker & Gray

In the mood for something a bit more sophisticated? Head to Beaker & Gray and enjoy craft cocktails, beer, and wine for $5. If you feel like munching, enjoy a selection of gourmet snacks like Cheeseburger Croquettes (made with wagyu and gouda) and Crispy Mochi, also $5.

When: Monday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., Monday – Thursday from 11 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Where: 2637 N. Miami Ave., Miami

3. KYU

While $4 beer and $6 wine is pretty solid as happy hour deals go, the real winners at KYU’s happy hour are the $7 specialty cocktails (one is a Mezcal-peach concotion, the other a vodka and smoked pineapple Moscow Mule, pictured above), and the $5 bites, which include soft shell crab and crispy pork pelly steamed buns, Korean fried chicken, and Thai style crispy pork “Guy.”

When: Monday – Friday from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Where: 251 NW 25th St., Miami

4. The Butcher Shop Beer Garden & Grill

Whether you lean toward liquor, bites or craft beer, The Butcher Shop offers all three at a steal during its happy hour. Enjoy 50 percent off select draft beer, house wine and well drinks, and dine on snacks like pulled pork sliders, spaetzle balls, confit chicken wings and fried bacon wrapped pickles, all ranging from $2-$5.

When: Monday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesday – Friday from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Where: 165 NW 23rd St., Miami

5. Brick

One of the few spots with a happy hour that bleeds into the weekend, Brick offers 50 percent off everything behind the bar. ‘Nuff said.

When: Wednesday – Saturday from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Where: 187 NW 28th Street, Miami
