Tired of making so many outs and on the verge of beating Roger Maris’ 1961 record of 61 whopping homers Miami Marlins star slugger Giancarlo Stanton took Monday night to party at Rockwell in celebration of his pal and former teammate A.J. Ramos’s 30th birthday.
This was hours after hitting his triumphant 55th home run during his team’s 13-1 rout of the New York Mets. Ramos, who was traded to the New York Mets in late July, was not in attendance at the game that night against Stanton, but was seen walking into the nightclub with his him, proving there’s no bad blood between the two.
The baller bros kept the celebratory evening going into the late hours of the night. “I haven’t felt too well,” Stanton told Fox Sports, which noted Stanton, despite his greatness, has been in a slump, “chasing bad pitches and missing a lot,” on Tuesday. “But I’ve had more comfortable at-bats the past couple of days. I’ve just got to turn it around.”
We’re sure his night out helped, too.
