Drake breaks his silence on why he canceled two shows in Miami

Canadian rapper Drake has had to postpone his Aubrey and the Three Migos concerts with touring mates Migos that were scheduled for Sept. 21-22 at Miami’s AmericanAirlines Arena.

He’s sick.

No, really. He is.

Drake had to cancel two shows over the weekend in Miami and people were left scratching their heads. Why?

Was it due to his highly public beef with Kanye West? His baby mama drama?

Neither. Drake is ill.

Yes, a sickness caused his two shows at AmericanAirlines Arena to be rescheduled.

The Miami Herald reports that the rapper’s “Aubrey and the Three Migos” tour, which had dates scheduled for Friday and Saturday night, were originally postponed due to “production issues.”

The D-man explained what was going on with his health on social media, explaining that the undisclosed illness came on him “very fast,” and that he was getting “round the clock care.”

“I never experienced anything like that in my life,” he wrote in the post.

Eek. The flu? We don’t know. Yet.

Tickets for the Friday, Sept. 21, show will be honored on Nov. 13. Tickets for the Saturday, Sept. 22, tour stop will be good for the rescheduled Nov. 14 date.
