Miami Heat star Chris Bosh, who also turned into a tie designer in the off-season, just obtained a second mortgage on his Miami Beach home, according to records. This one, from Bank of America, is for $12 million, according to Miami-Dade County records. Since his first mortgage was $7.1 million, Bosh now owes a total of $19.1 million. By the way, Bosh’s North Bay Road crib is valued by the county’s property appraiser at about $12 million. Why does a guy who makes $20 million-plus per a year need a mortgage anyway? Bosh’s rep isn’t talking. According to records, Bosh bought the place right before his first season with the Heat, in September 2010. He put down $5 million cash and borrowed $7.1 million from Deutsche Bank, according to records. He obtained the second mortgage Sept. 9. Bosh recently listed his Los Angeles-area mansion for $14.5 million.
