Carlos Ponce and his new girlfriend just made their relationship Instagram official

It’s official.

Carlos Ponce and Karina Banda are a couple.

The actor and “El gordo y la flaca” reporter stepped out Saturday night at the Global Empowerment Mission gala at Island Gardens in Miam Beach. The waterside event celebrated the charitable work done by Michael Capponi’s organization, including sending aid to storm ravaged Puerto Rico, where Ponce is from.

“Puerto Rico is still hurting,” said Ponce, who has been seen recently in such TV shows as “Major Crimes” and “Devious Maids.” “It’s unreal that some people are still without water or electricity after so much time.”

The two showbiz personalities are not technically a new couple. They have been rumored to be dating since the summer.

Ponce, 46, had been a bachelor a while. The “Cristela” star dated Colombian actress Ximena Duque for six years. She is now happily married to businessman Jay Adkins; they had a baby girl in January.

Ponce has four kids with his ex wife Veronica Rubio, the sister of Sen. Marco Rubio.

As for Banda, she is from Mexico and was married once before, reports People en Espanol.

We wish the Miami residents well. They seem to be off to a great start. The journalist, 30, posted a picture of the two on Instagram with Biscayne Bay as the backdrop. The caption: “I’m the proudest girlfriend to be with a man with such a big heart, which makes me more in love with him every day.”

It was the first “official” social media pic of the two.

In August, Ponce wished her a happy birthday on Instagram.

And a few days later, they were seen riding horses in Colombia on her Insta, but she did not tag Ponce, who  was barely recognizable in a hat and beard. Banda did throw in a hint, with the hashtag #couplesgoals, though.
