Horrible!!! After reading Jessica's review, unfortunately must say that I had a similar experience. I have never had such poor service period!
Our Server was nice and upbeat in the beginning; however, after taking our orders, he disappeared and rarely came back. When two of our party of seven did not receive their dishes, he walked by us several times (a time span of 15 minutes) without a second glance – at this point, those of us who had received our meals had begun to eat. We had to ask a busboy to find our waiter so he could explain what was going on with the order... when he finally came (after another 10 minutes) he offered no explanation or apology as to why the food wasn’t out. Instead he became defensive, rude, catty and argumentative when all my girlfriend asked was “what happened to our meals?”. He apparently failed to order theirs – which is fine, everyone makes mistakes and the situation could have been resolved with a simple short explanation or offering a drink during the wait but he actually started to yell at her! He said things like “what do you want me to do?” and “do you want me to cancel your order?”... I don’t think I’ve ever been asked if I wanted my order to be canceled at a restaurant where I’ve come to eat. I actually lost my appetite after witnessing this argument.
There was no attempt to rectify the situation! He just walked away and a “Manager” wearing a black suit and tie came over to ask what happened. After the explanation, he just said “ok”, and walked away… I saw him a few minutes later standing in the corner by the kitchen entrance talking and laughing with our server.
Still in shock, we asked to speak to a manager again and this time someone else came over – by this time we were so ready to go but we explained to him what happened and he apologized and asked how he could make up for it. He offered us a round of drinks, which was nice, however the damage was done.
This was the worst display of customer service I have ever seen! Good Luck Nikki Grove, with service like this, you’re going to need it. I’d rather order a pizza at home and save myself the trouble of having to deal with rudeness like this! Server was constantly around when the bill came around (surprise?)...
Also, regarding the food, 2 out of the 3 sushi dishes ordered were no good (tasted old) and one of the chicken entrees ordered was not cooked through. Gross!
