Various bold faced names
11/8/2012
Director/choreographer Debbie Allen, violinist Joshua Bell and Adrian Grenier ( Entourage) will get serious props for their cultural contributions at An Affair of the Arts Performance and Gala Jan. 12, 2013. The National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts), established in 1981 by Lin and Ted Arison to support the next generation of artists, will also applaud the participants in the 2013 edition of YoungArts Week, which provides 150 talented individuals with classes, workshops, performances and more. YoungArts alumni (besides Grenier) who have gone on to become big names include Viola Davis, Kerry Washington and Nicki Minaj. Among the other stars heading the event at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and Alfred I. DuPont Building are Honorary Gala Chairs Plácido Domingo and Mikhail Baryshnikov.
