You survived a wet and rainy Labor Day weekend filled crazy antics, now it’s time to get in gear and keep the parties going. Big DJs are on the scene to keep you up all night through the weekend. Here are my top party picks for the week.
Thursday, Sept. 5
Miami Social at the Hoxton
1111 SW First Ave., Miami
There’s always a new way to party in this city. This week The Hoxton presents the launch of Miami Social Thursdays. Friday, Sept. 6
Shore Club Skybar Launches Red Room Fridays
1901 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Start off the evening at Skybar's Redroom at Shore Club for the premier of Redroom Fridays. Ease into the weekend at Redroom's Marrakech inspired outdoor living room and indoor red glowing bar with DJ Supersede on the turntables bringing a mixture of electronic and chill house beats to get you in the mood for the weekend. It all starts at 10 p.m.
Super Fridays presents Cazzette
1235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach
After a little mix and mingle at the Shore Club, head to Mansion for a night with Swedish DJ/producer duo Cazzette as they take over Super Fridays. They are known throughout the world for their club anthem "Beam Me Up” and party-rocking hits like “Sweet Dreams." Saturday, Sept. 7
Queen of Techno
136 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
There’s no stopping the music this weekend, head over to Story for the Queen of Techno, special guest Nicole Moudaber. Her mix of sexy house and techno sounds makes her a force to be reckoned with. Doors open at 11 p.m., dress code is trendy chic. For a sneak peak at what you’ll hear check out her latest mix.

LIV presents Paul Oakenfold
4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
Down the street, internationally known DJ Paul Oakenfold along with special guest Mind Electric and resident DJ Mednas will be turning it out at LIV. Dance to progressive house hits such as “Please Me,” “As We Collide” and all the lastest from his recently released album, "We Are Planet Perfecto," which includes one of my favorites, “Touch the Sky.” Doors open at 11 p.m.; this will be a sold out show, early arrival is suggested.

Midtown Get Down at the Stage
170 NE 38th St., Miami
After a long weekend kick back with some good tunes and some BBQ. Starting at 2 p.m., make your way to the Stage in Wynwood. Enjoy a “Locals Only” afternoon of drink specials, good stories and great music. DJs Self Born and Heron will be on the decks keeping you vibing all afternoon.
