The summer has come and gone. It’s time to say farewell the right way - non-stop action from morning until nightfall the entire weekend! Stock up on energy drinks and prepare for the ultimate party weekend.So many DJs, plenty of parties, and not enough time!  Its Labor Day weekend and I’ve got you covered with events to keep you on the dance floor and on the sand shuffling your way through Monday. Here’s my Labor Day Edition Party Patrol!

Thursday, Aug. 29

LIV presents Calvin Harris

Start the weekend with a bang at LIV with international superstar Calvin Harris rocking the decks dropping chart-topping favorites like “Sweet Nothing,” “Bounce” and many more. Tickets are $75 for the ladies in advance and $125 for the guys.

Also at LIV this week- Wednesday Dirty Hairy presents DJ MOS alongside Ruen and Mike Deuce, Friday catch DJ Vice on the decks, followed by special guest DJ Rehab on Saturday. Tickets are going fast for these events. 


Friday, Aug. 30

Chase & Status take over Mansion

Switch up the beat and dance the night away with British electronic music production duo Chase & Status. They’ll be dropping drum & bass, dub-step and house all night long.  For a taste of what you will hear check out one of my favorite tracks “Lost and Not Found.”

David Guetta tells a Story

Down the street get ready for a night of high energy electro house beats with special guest David Guetta alongside Dave Sol.  Get lost in all the pretty lights while dancing to hits like “Right Now,” “Ain’t A Party” and “Rock the Disco” to name just few. Doors open at 11 p.m. Tickets are pretty pricey, get them before they run out.

Also at Story this weekend- Thursday kick off the weekend with DJ Stevie J dropping a mix of hip-hop and R&B hits, then switch up the beat with CASSY  for a night of tech house on Saturday followed by special guest Martin Solveig on Sunday.


Club Space Labor Day Weekend

You can’t close out the summer without a night in Space.  One venue, 3 different rooms, and a handful of kick ass DJs to keep you on your toes, living it up in to the afternoon on Monday. Kick off the festivities on Friday for One Night in Space with a line-up of progressive and electro house DJs thqat will make your heart bounce including Showtek, Dynamik Dave, Felix House and Max Kartel, Luccio, Jason Vernau, and many more. This special night is 18 and over and dress code is strictly enforced.

The party continues Saturday on the Terrace with Laidback Luke, and  in the basement get wild with DJ Craze. Then close out the festivities on Sunday with special guests Aly & Fila vs. John O’Callaghan in the main room and Otto Knows and David Tort on the Terrace through Monday afternoon.

From packing clubs in Scotland to rocking the decks at some of the best club in the world, this DJ/production duo continue to make crowds go wild with their stellar mixing skills of some of the best in electro, trance and progressive house beats.  This weekend they’re taking over Bamboo along with Axel Beca and Hugo M to bring you a show you don’t want to miss including hits “Hot Summer Nights” and “ I Want to Believe.”   Tickets are only $20 for the ladies and $30 for the men.

4 Play Pool Party at the Shore Club

Continue the Labor Day weekend festivities at the Shore Club for 4Play.  Dance to a mix of house and open format by local favorites Andres Fresko, DJ Obscene, Damaged Goods, Andrei K F3R, Kevin Osorio and headlining will be up and coming house producer/DJ Henry Fong.  Doors open at noon; tickets online are $10 for the ladies $20 for the guys. For something a more low-key, head to Mondrian South Beach to indulge in a Labor Day BBQ on the bay. Work on your tan by the pool or reserve a lush green, shaded cabana to enjoy fresh-off-the-grill specials.
