LOS AMIGOS INVISIBLES

HEINEKEN TRANSATLANTIC FESTIVAL
On Friday, check out Afrobeat bandleader Seun Kuti, who’s keeping alive the legacy of his father, Fela Kuti; Saturday brings Quantic - which features funk, jazz, electronic, reggae and dub as well as Colombian cumbia singer Nidia Gongora – plus percussionist Pedrito Martinez’s Afro-Cuban quartet (he was a founding member of the group Yerba Buena).

JAM ON IT
No, they’re not out to destroy the world – this Orlando-area ska-punk-reggae band just would like to teach the world to skank in perfect harmony. You’ll hear tunes from the group’s six albums, and if you’re lucky, lively covers of Billy Joel’s “Movin’ Out” and George Michael’s “Careless Whispers.”
