Los Sabores de Mercado Venza
Enjoy cooking demonstrations, tastings, free potted herbs and more courtesy of the Toyota Venza Sunday (June 28) from 1:30-5:30 at the Lincoln Rd Farmers Market. The event is designed to promote the 'the connection between farmers and chefs” and features a dozen local chefs, including Bernie Matz of Books & Books Cafe and Andrea Curto-Randazzo of Talula.

Pollo Tropical launches Grilled Tropical Wings
Beginning Monday (June 29) Pollo Tropical introduces its brand spanking new grilled tropical wings. Reportedly over a year in the making, the wings are grilled (not fried) and served with two new house sauces – Pineapple Rum Wing Sauce & Spicy Amazon Sauce.

Rosa Mexicano Kicks Off Annual Festival de Helados
Beginning this week & lasting through July 19, Brickell’s Rosa Mexicano is ground zero for spicy, sweet ice cream. The restaurant’s annual festival launches this year with exotica flavors like Coco con Cáscara de Limón Cristalizada (coconut & candied lime zest); Crema de Cacahuete y Chocolate de Oaxaca (peanut butter and Oaxacan chocolate) and Aguacate (salted avocado and butter).

New Summer Menu @ Michy’s
Michelle Bernstein ushers in June heat & humidity with a refreshing new summer menu. Offerings include a new twist on the classic wedge salad (think Florida-grown heirloom tomatoes, spicy fried onions & avocados), white gazpacho (Marcona almonds, white grapes & cucumbers), homemade tagliatelle with a bounty of scallops, mussels, clams, diced shrimp & a seafood nage, crispy fried chicken with cheese grits, creamy coleslaw & a wedge of fresh watermelon and Latin-inspired baked Alaska (pistachio cake with dulce de leche ice cream & passion fruit salsa).
