The upstairs lounge at the Van Dyke Café on Lincoln Road is Miami’s original speakeasy where locals and tourists can listen to Latin jazz music. Arrive early on Friday or Saturday to get a table, because once the music starts the crowd grows. One signature cocktail to try is the Porn Star. The naughty citrus martini served with a champagne shot will have you fueled up for the rest of your evening.
Directions
Fill cocktail shaker with ice.
Add 1 1/2 ounces of Van Gogh vodka
Add 1/2 an ounce of Passion liquor
Add 1/2 an ounce of apple juice
Add 1/2 an ounce of passion fruit puree.
Shake vigorously
Strain into a martini glass
Pour a shot of champagne into a flute and serve tableside to drink separately or mix.
