Well it looked good and I succumbed to peer pressure at D'Vine since all my friends were getting "high" off air, okay flavored air. It looks better than it is and I ended up getting terrible bronchitis that took me nearly 2 months to finally get rid of. My group of friends and I usually hit the hookah bars on Friday nights right before going to a party or club. We've tried numerous places for hookahs and have had a great time. We've been so into the hookah 'thing' that we each bought one to have at all our get togethers or other events. If your looking for a nice dinner experience with a club like atmosphere I highly recommend Tantra on Pennsylvania Ave. in Miami Beach, and Off the Hookah in Las Olas Riverfront in Ft. Lauderdale. I love going to hookah bars once in a while. I always feel so relaxed afterwards. My fave is D'Vine Hookah Lounge on Lincoln Rd.
The recent explosion of hookahs in Miami has been interesting. I believe there's at least one more place on Lincoln that offers them. Does D'Vine still exist at their original location on Collins? I've also seen them being smoked in front of some kind of business on Biscayne around 76th Strett. The new head shop at Alton and 15th sells the equipment. I fairly surprised to see this place open. We'll see how long it's tolerated by the City of Miami Beach. In the meantime, plenty of business from the Flamingo alone. ... Read more
