There is also the Deering Estate, Fairchild Tropical Gardens, Vizcaya, the Freedom Tower, etc that were left out of this article.

this is a great article.very informative. I have been to The Barnacle, it is a very nice place for a picnic. All these places were meant for Miami locals and thats why they sometimes go overlooked by tourists. good stuff Miami.com... Read more

Great article. Miami.com is a great concept, but let's have more of all of Miami, not just downtown and South Beach.
