    I stopped by Slim's last night, the bar that advertises "no cover no bull**it". The Slim's that long ago lost status has a hot spot. The first thing out of the doorman's mouth is "20 DOLLAR COVER PER PERSON" REALLY? Bull**it liars. I will spend my money elsewhere thank you. Automatic Slims, you fail.... Read more

    There are establishments of similar concept in Downtown Hollywood, except Justin's is not carried out nearly as well. If you like Cafe Iguana, you may like Justin's. Personally, I would rather go to the bar at the Denny's in Sunny Isles, or get a DUI coming back home from South Beach than to put myself through the punishment of being in this cheesy lounge again. ...     I thought Juan Valdez was a Columbian coffee farmer. A Patron based drink doesn't seem to make sense. How about a drink using coffee liquor. Or maybe something based on Aguardiente Cristal. Sorry Auri, they made one too many bad mixed drinks at Circa. I'm sticking with the Stella and Chimay they keep stocked in the cooler.... Read more
