Miami is to me...
I am One of the Two Saucy Chicks of Internet Radio. You can tune in to us at www.blogtalkradio.com/joinusatthetable every Saturday morning and listen to our culinary lifestyle show. I am well traveled, have been to at least 47 countries; my favorite cities, New York, Chicago, Hong Kong, Paris and, of course, my hometown, San Francisco. Next year I am looking forward to visiting Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Vietnam and hopefully taking some other foodies along with me.
Restaurants:
Absolute favorite in Miami - Ortanique for the jerk chicken penne pasta and Michael's Genuine for their pork belly. San Francisco - Ame in the St. Regis Hotel - the veal cheeks were to die for. Seattle - Andaluca - Wayne Johnson kicks but with his pinxtos. Houston - The Breakfast Klub, best big "A" breakfast in town and then visit Chef Ryan Pera's The Grove - delish!
Beaches:
Negril, Jamaica & Juan les Pins in the south of France
Museums:
Miami Art Museum, the San Francisco - the Museum of the African Diaspora. Paris - I love, love the Musée d'Orsay and their newest beauty, Musée du Quai Branly on the Left Bank of the Seine.
Neighborhoods:
Miami's Design District, San Francisco's Fillmore, well now it has "evolved" into Upper/Lower Fillmore
Teams:
Absolutely NONE!
Secret Hangouts:
Sheba Ethiopian Restaurant in the Design District.
