Posted on Mon, 05.10.2010 @ 13:57STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF UM SHOULD NOT COME HERE AS I AM BOTH!! If negative stars were available, I would have given them that rating. Where to begin... I've never had fake nails but wanted gel nails on top of my natural nail so that they would not break. I was ripped off. They gave me acrylic nails with a gel coating. I thought it was odd that they mixed powder and only at the end put a top coat and then put the uv light. They charged me for gel nails!! I got the nails done on 5/5 and they were coming off by 5/8. I called and talked to the "manager", a man, and he told me that I had to specify LIQUID gel. I got the pink and white with acrylic and a gel coat but I have to specify the texture of the gel?! A GEL IS A GEL NOT SOMETHING THEY MIX IN FRONT OF YOU. I should have done more research on this and they would not have ripped me off. When I spoke to the manager he had the nerve to tell me I was low class and uneducated because I told him I would give him bad reviews online and that I would not recommend his services or nail spa. I paid 85 dollars for a bad pedicure and pink/white acrylics with gel COAT., they did not take off the excess skin around toes, barely massaged, and ran me through like a production line. This place is not a spa or comforting in any way. My natural nail is ruined as the technician buffed down my nail, which i was trying to save from the beginning, so that all my natural nails are uneven under the white acrylic!! I know have to have this crap removed and redone. I can provide pictures of my toes as finished and of my crap nails that are coming off!!!... Read more
