To whom it may concern:

My Name is Jessica and I just recently had my worst dining experience! The name of the restaurant is Nikki Grove located in the Sonesta Hotel in Coconut Grove. It is a fairly new Hot Spot restaurant. I went with a couple of girl friends for dinner and had the most terrible service.

We arrived at the restaurant at about 8:30 PM. We were seated and within 5 minutes after the waiter came
to our table told us the specials and left. He must have walked past our table about 15 times for the next 30 minutes without even acknowledging our presence. When we asked someone in the wait staff to get our waiter he yelled at the young lady "How dare they ask anyone to get me I go when I am ready!!! I do
not want to take care of them you take their order!!". You would think that after that disrespect we would have left but we decided to try and dismiss his rudeness and enjoy our night. The young lady was nice
enough to take our drink and food orders. Over 30 minutes passed since we placed our order and that is when the drinks arrived. In all that time, we still hadn't been offered bread nor water! We had to practically beg the busboy for some. Then we waited another 45 minutes before we got our appetizers. Finally after
2 hours of waiting (from the time we placed the order) we still had not received our meal (which was merely sushi).

At this point we were understandably upset and spoke to the manager for the second time. She seemed aggravated that we were complaining and as if it was some sort of "HONOR" to be able to eat there. She assumed that a comped round or drinks and 3 shrimps that it would suffice. After speaking to her she stomped away. Our dinner never arrived and we were asked to leave the restaurant by the managers request (who we were later told was not the lady we spoke to). We never got to speak to the manager just his assistant who did not wish to deal with complaints. The so called Manager (assistant) was extremely rude! We were in such a state of shock that we had been asked to leave because we had complained about the poor service and long wait for our food.

As far as I know, "the customer is always right". No "manager" is supposed to disrespect their customers nor through them out of their restaurant for complaining about their service. They are supposed to take these words and use them as stepping stones to better themselves. This was definitely the worst display of management and lack of service that I have ever dealt with. I hope that none of you will have to experience what my girlfriends and I went through. These people need to take a few courses on Management and Customer Service ASAP! For your own sake, PLEASE DO NOT GO TO NIKKI GROVE!
