  • Fuel up: Gas stations with gourmet grub

Excellent article! Panna Cafe Express has two other locations - in Pembroke Pines and Doral. Plaza's in Doral is also great, as mentioned by the other reviewer, mizturriaga2.... Read more
  • Out and about: New Moon

This review totally neglects to mention the lesbian hangouts in Miami-Dade for Miamians. It's not worth the drive. BOO!
  • Cuban coffee 101

For Americans and Cubans alike, I think the best place to get Cuban coffee is at Tinta y Cafe, located in Brickell's side of Calle Ocho, simply because it is cozy, loungey, clean, and artsy. On top of that, it's a true coffee shop. It has a feel of an upscale coffee shop that others (except for Casa Larios, which is more of a restaurant anyways) listed in this review fail to have.... • This organic life

ROMA Organic Gelato is highly recommended in Brickell. It might even be the best gelato place in town. Also, Escopazzo, the Italian restaurant in South Beach, is all organic as well. There's more farmer's markets in the area too, having local produce, but I don't know if they're organic.... Read more

Skip the Denny's on Biscayne (quality, eh), S&S Diner (quality, eh) and the Eastside Diner (price, eh). Their pastries are also delicious, far better than even the popular chains like Panera.... • 'Cue calls

I liked Cliff's Restaurant at 10740 NW 7th Ave more than Clive's, for the jerk barbecues, but I've tried it only once at both locations. Meanwhile, I've had delicious ribs (AND sides) at People's Bar-B-Que in Overtown (NW 8th St & I-95). It's not common to see delicious sides paired with delicious barbecue, but People's did the trick for me.... Read more
  • Portobello Ristorante

Excellent Italian on Coral Way. I liked it more than Tutto Pasta even! The carpaccio could be better, but the pasta and risotto dishes were just right! They may also have the best tiramesu in Miami, and I've been wanting to try their torta de guanabana, which I've heard was also good.... Read more
