I had read the good reviews about this restaurant; so my girlfriends and I decided to go last night. We had a wonderful time!..Our waiter was really nice and attentive. The prices are on the higher end...but the food is worth it; and the apple cotton candy is a wonderful treat. I had the avocado roll and edamame, my friends had the calamari salad, shrimp tempura roll and 2 apple martinis. Overall cost $120 including tax. oh yeah...and the cool tattoos? yeap I still have mine. When my husband saw it he kinda freaked..but I told him it was fake. LOL. Will definitely visit this place again.... Read more

I definitely agree with your article. I often try to find those "hidden gems" around Miami, from boutiques to family owned restaurants, and some of them are places I love and continue to visit as often as I can. • La Granja Parrilla & Seafood -- Tamarac

I visited La Granja this weekend. A friend of mine and I felt like having some peruvian chicken. I have been to the one in Kendall, but had never been to this particular location. Anyways, the place was packed!. They serve everything from Rotiserie chicken, to lomo saltado, ceviche, papa a la huancaina, etc. The price for a quarter chicken, with rice, beans, fries and an inca kola was around 6 bucks. Not bad at all, and they serve a lottt! I was so full I couldn't even finish it. This place is sure growing, they seem to have a lot of other locations around south florida.... Read more

  • JW Marriott Hotel Miami

I have to say the service at this hotel is outstanding. I reserved a private room at the Isabella restaurant two years ago for my parents 40th anniversary. I wanted to have an intimate family dinner and everything was exactly how I wanted. The place was decorated with fresh flowers, the cake I had ordered was exquisite and the most important part of it all is that my parents had an awesome time. it was very intimate and the food was delicious. After our dinner, I also reserved a suite for my parents to spend a romantic night. Of course, I went to check the suite and it was impeccable. This hotel is elegant and the staff goes out of their way to meet your every need.... Read more
  • Ikea

Visited IKEA for the first time yesterday and wow!...I didn't think the store was so big!!. It's kinda overwhelming at first and it takes a while to get used to seeing so much stuff! but it kinda neat!. The decor of each room whether its a living room area/kitchen or kids room is very modern and space saving. Great for college students, couples and even small families. Like most of the reviewers said, don't expect high end furniture that can last a lifetime. I found a very nice comforter, some utensils for the kitchen, a rug and some stuff for the bathroom. Very affordable prices!.... Read more

Well this place is outstanding if u like meat!. I rather have fish but I can still appreciate the flavor of a good churrasco. First of , the view of the bay is beautiful. But on all regular days do make a reservation ahead of time. Again, try to go there with an empty stomach....they will serve u and a LOT!. Totally worth the price.... Read more

The cafeteria is rather small but they offer up to 15 different kinds of dishes Monday-Saturday from 11:00-4:00pm. Unfortunately I got there around 4:30 and the kitchen was already closed. What I did have was a very tasty mango and strawberry juice. The lady who prepared it was really nice and asked me to go back to try their dishes. I am really thinking of taking her up on that offer. Oh God! what a delight!!!!!!....the french fries are made from yellow peruvian potatoes which taste so much better than regular american fries; and that spicy sauce they put on the table...YUMMY!!! I have to admit service was a bit slower this time because it was really packed, but nevertheless, the waitress was really nice and attentive. We couldn't finish it all so we took some home. Well, La covacha is a great option if you live in the Doral Area. Since I do, it's very convenient b/c u wont be doing much driving. Just watch out for the cops who usually park outside...so try to assign a designated driver. I've been celebrating my bday there for the past 2 years and is great! I usually reserve the ViP section which is pretty much secluded from the rest of the club and gives u a feeling of having a private party with ur own personal dj. I love it there! Plus when u get the vip, bar is open from 10-11:30pm!. A bottle of grey goose is $250..not bad...and everyone u invite gets in for free bf 12... Read more
