'The Avengers' (PG-13)

There were scenes in the middle aboard the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier that could have been cut -- I know I'm losing attention when I'm checking my iPhone in the middle of a film -- but otherwise the director did a great job of getting a big-name cast to gel together. The final fighting sequence in mid-town at the end of the film was absolutely epic.... Read more
