  • Le Bon Restaurant

I love mussels and I usually go on Lincoln Road to get a pot full with belgium fries. I really enjoy the setting as you can look at people passing by. The food is served quickly and the lobster bisque to start is delicious. Sometimes teh mussels are really big , but it is a matter of taste. I usually like them rather small. The desert is my favorite part. They have a chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream on a bed of pistachio. It is always a sure value to go to Lebon!... Read more

  • Tamarind Thai Restaurant

This restaurant was my fisrt encounter with Thai cuisine. It was love at first bite. I tried many of their dishes such as the usual pad Thai, the duck in coconut milk and vegetables, the appetizer sampler etc... I was never disapointed. The service is very good and the ambiance is calm, romantic and relaxing. I went to Thailand shortly after and I can seriously say that the food at tamarind is faithful to the real Thai spirit and flavors.... Read more
  • Paul Bakery-Aventura Mall

I love French food. I knew this franchise from France and I like the fact they finally opened it here, but I was SOOOO disapointed by the service in this location. the waiters are rude and most of teh cashiers take forever to place an order, get the food out and take paiment. I gave up going there although teh cakes are good because it is just not worth it. I don't mind paying 4.25 for a pastry but having to wiat 10 minutes and having to deal with teh rudeness of teh staff make that pastry tasteless.... Read more
  • Culinary cage match: croquetas

Everytime I try to go taste some of Michelle's well known cuisine, something happens and I cannot make it. So, the closest connection I have with her so far is watching her on "Check Please" on Channel 2. Her show makes me hungry all the time, and although I tried many restaurants featured on the program, I never got a chance to try hers. Do you have any recomendations as far as dish to absolutely try once I finally get there? Also which of the two restaurants is the ONE to try? Just her personality on the show made me go to the "Tribute to the Chefs" during the food convention on South beach and she was so down to earth. She talked about the difficulties of being a restaurant owner in this present economy. For such a persona, she is humble and so funny. It is a pleasure to watch her on Tv and hopefully to meet her one day in her own restaurant!... Read more
