Miami is to me...

This is the part where I get to honestly say, I love my job. I'm the Video Expert for Miami.com and that means that everyday is an adventure. That sound lame, I'm aware, but it's true. Whether we are highlighting a restaurant, person, nightclub, or activity, I tend to be learning about it at the same time as the rest of you. • Restaurants:

  I'll break these up into categories. Under the "Not in the mood to drive" category, Bourbon Steak wins. It's 1 minute from my house and really delish.

  If I'm in a "Let's make a night out of it" state of mind. It's Gotham, Scarpetta and then Blade @ Fontainebleau. It's like a cocktail/appetizer world tour.

  You can never go wrong with Michy's in the Mimo district, this one take the "consistency" award.

• Nightclubs:

  Not much of a Nightclub goer but I find LIV & Plunge enjoyable. Club 50 in Brickell has breathtaking views and it's off the beaten path.

• Beaches:

  Always been a pool person because I've always had one. Hmmm, there is a laziness theme developing here:)

• Museums:

  World Erotic Art Museum on 12t and Washington has my kind of art:) Naomi Wilzig a very "mature" grandmother founded this place and her story is almost as interesting as the art featured here. She's also the founder of Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel and the Wilzig Hospital Center in Jersey City, N.J. • Attractions:

  I'm all about finding new workouts. Not sure if that falls under "attractions" but I'm going with it. I've tried rooftop soccer, paddle boarding, pole dancing, and kite boarding is up next. As a runner I find I'm not very good at the activities that require coordination but that's part of the fun. I have no problem laughing at myself.

• Neighborhoods:

  Lincoln Road, Coconut Groove, Mimo/Design District, and my little old Aventura are my favs.

• Teams:

  Miami has the Dolphins, the greatest football team...

• Secret Hangouts:

  Does that not ruin the secrecy of it all?
