UM Graduate's Jewelry Becomes Overnight Sensation on Instagram for Coachella Fans

 

Carli Pino's friendship bracelets became a hit on Instagram

Architect Carli Pino has always had a knack for designing and for fashion. So naturally the 25-year-old combined both while searching for a stress reliever from work. Yet, little did she know her outlet would become a major business overnight.

Pino, a Dadeland resident, started creating friendship bracelets like she used to do as a child less than a month ago. Then noticing that spikes were becoming a hot trend to accent clothing and shoes, she decided to add them to her string jewels. She uploaded her creations onto Instagram and her company Charmdeliers was officially born.

“After only being up on Instagram for 48 hours, I have had such an amazing response from girls trying to get all their Coachella festival ensembles together. Last week alone, I sent over 30 orders of friendship bracelets to L.A.,” said Pino.

In Miami, five boutiques across Miami have already picked up the bracelets too. They include Nikki’s Beach House in Coconut Grove, The Dressing Room in South Miami, Electric Boutique in Kendall and OHM in Coral Gables.

The University of Miami graduate said her fans love the bright colors and the spikes. “They are fun, and you can wear them with anything and at all hours of the day, even while boating in Miami.

Currently, her clientele ranges from 15 up to 40-years-old .The bracelets retail for $28 for large spikes, $24 for the small spikes, and $20 for studs. Check out her Facebook page for the latest:
