Turnberry Isle Miami is going green. Festivities revolve around Earth Hour (March 31) and Earth Day (April 22)
Earth Hour (March 31)
- Turnberry will dim the lights at 8:30pm and offer activities to endorse natural and unique lights without electric sockets:
- Glow-in-the-Dark Solar Drop cocktails ($12) will be served in the lobby lounge from 5-11pm
- Cascata Grill will serve a three-course candlelight-only dinner featuring ingredients from the chef's garden from 6-10pm. $38 per person, 786-279-6800 for reservations
- Astronomer Dr. James Webb will lead a complimentary astronomy presentation at the Cascata pool
Earth Day (April 22)
- The hotel is hosting an 8:30am 2.9-mile Earth Day run ($25, proceeds benefit Operation Green Leaves)
- Guests can enjoy a complimentary chef’s garden tour at 4pm
- Glow-in-the-Dark Solar Drop cocktails ($12) will be served in the lobby lounge from 5-11pm
