The British are coming! The British are coming! We’re talking Brit IT retailer Topshop and Topman, that is. The internationally loved chain just opened in Aventura Mall’s Nordstrom with a shop-in-shop boasting both women and menswear with a high-street aesthetic. We chat up Topshop Global Head of Press Richard Storer on the big move and fall forecast.
The brand just opened a shop-in-shop —not a brick and mortar —at Aventura’s Nordstrom this past weekend. Shop-in-shops, a store within a store, are gaining popularity as of late — why? For Topshop, our shop-in-shops are a great way to start an introduction to our brand and we really tailor the build of these to give a real sense of how and what we are as a brand. It’s also a great way to see who our potential new customers are in each market without the need to first open a store, this is why we have partnered with Nordstrom to help create our footprint across the U.S.
What can shoppers expect? You can experience a great range of our Topshop collection categories, and we know people will feel the excitement of being able to access the brand in a more tangible way within a mini Topshop branded environment.

Unequivocally British, why is the label perfect for Floridians? Florida is a style led city which has a similar views on fashion to Topshop, and has the sensibility of the brand which is not about telling anyone how to dress, it’s about putting together a look in your own way, and for yourself — we think this is why we will make such a good combination.
