3D printers can make pretty much anything but presidential candidates that people like and agree upon. Fortunately for those with a sweet tooth, Katjes Magic Candy Factory has teamed up with Dylan’s Candy Bar to present the first ever 3D candy printer in the world and it’s coming to Miami on Wednesday, June 1 to create over 100 different custom candies in under 5 minutes. Unlike your neighborhood Kinko’s however, this candy is not cheap. the cost is a flat rate of $20 per “print” and the candies–gummies, actually–are vegan, gluten and dairy free.
“Magic Candy Factory is an incredible innovation. Dylan’s Candy Bar has been excitedly watching the trends in candy personalization,” said owner Dylan Lauren. “We can’t wait to dazzle our customers with the magic creativity of Willy Wonka’s factory, merged with modern day technology!”
“The Magic Candy Factory is a one of a kind innovation and we are so excited to bring our 3D printed confections to the USA. I have been a fan of Dylan’s Candy Bar since I started in the confectionery industry 6 years ago,” says Melissa Snover, Managing Director of Magic Candy Factory. “Their incredible experimental retail environment and ‘customer comes first’ service make them the absolute perfect fit for the magical innovation we developed.”
