Soundbite Presents: Bowie’s Blackstar BashCelebrate the life of the Music Legend, David Bowie, on the one year anniversary of his passing. SoundBite Magazine presents Bowie’s Blackstar Bash, a celebration of David Bowie’s legacy with South Florida’s leading talent. Local musicians will perform Bowie’s classics. Special appearance by the Goblin King and his magical juggling acts. Enter the raffle to win a unique David Bowie painting by surreal artist, Pachi.

Gardens by Moonlight –  As Vizcaya celebrates its 100th birthday, they’re kicking off this season’s Gardens by Moonlight (formerly known as Moonlight Garden Tours) with a chance to explore the not yet open to the public Vizcaya Village! To showcase this little-known history, they’re inviting you to wander the Village on your own. There, you’ll encounter staff to tell you stories about the spaces and live music like The Wilson Slayers whose story-telling prowess comes in the form of old-time murder ballads.

Concrete Beach Taps

Namaste for a Pint Love Life and their neighbors Concrete Beach Brewery are teaming up to give back to our community. The 2nd Wednesday of every month they host a FREE yoga class at Concrete Beach in Wynwood. Each month class will be guided by a different Love Life teacher. This month will be with Megan Elizabeth from 7-8pm with $4 pints after class to stay and connect with community. Bring your own mat.

Beaux Arts FestivalThe 66th Annual, one of Miami’s longest-running juried art festivals – will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14th and Sunday, Jan. 15th on the campus of the University of Miami in Coral Gables. The Festival of Art features fine art by over 220 juried artists, live music, international food and a Family Fun Zone. This weekend event is ideal for art enthusiasts, as well as kids and families, and offers artwork in a variety of mediums and for all budgets.

The greens will come alive to the flavors of culinary favorites like Manna Life Food, Toro Toro, The River Seafood and Oyster Bar, Local Boy Poke, Alloy Bistro Gourmet, Biscayne Tavern, Sparky’s Roadside Barbecue and more to be announced. The Miami FleaSwing by and enjoy the local community with pop-ups galore. Ride your bike or take transit, and make sure to stop by the kid’s corner by Little Creative Souls for some creative crafts, and face painting. They’ll have workshops, one-of-a-kind gifts, and brand new vendors. Check out the amazing creations by local artisans, adopt a puppy, or get your hands henna-fied. There will be vintage treasures, vinyl, and more thrift finds that ever before.

Nu Deco at New World CenterAfter three nights of sold out performances in December, Nu Deco Ensemble is returning to The New World Center on Jan. 15th to mark the beginning of a ground-breaking partnership with the Dranoff International 2 Piano Foundation! The intimate concert will feature the winners of the last Dranoff Competition, Duo Yoo and Kim, performing with Miami’s 21st-Century chamber orchestra on Fredrik Sixten’s Concerto for Two Pianos. The night will then take off with renditions of J.S. Bach, Radiohead, Steve Reich, Jessie Montgomery and the world premiere of a tribute to Frank Zappa for two pianos.
