Perhaps the most shocking quote of Super Bowl week came out of Terrell Owens’ mouth Wednesday afternoon:
“I’m not really a celebrity.”
After 14 high-profile years in the NFL – including an infamous sit-up session with live news cameras buzzing over your suburban Philadelphia home – you sure fooled us, T.O.
In fact, if there was one player in the league more suited to host a Paparazzi Pool Party at the Fontainebleau, it’s his kindred spirit, Chad Ochocinco.
And that’s exactly what they did Wednesday, along with Katrina Campins of The Apprentice.
NFL stars Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes and Warren Sapp were among the A-listers sipping vodka poolside on this sunny, but a slightly chilly, afternoon. Also in the house: super agent Drew Rosenhaus, rapper Ludacris, and a camera crew shooting an untitled VH1 reality TV show shadowing basketball wives.
“Miami’s nice,” Owens said. “Any time you get into this city, you have a good time, get down to South Beach, hit the clubs, hit the beaches, what more could you ask for?
“I don’t have any specific plans [this week], I’m just going all over the place,” he added.
