In observance of Haitian Heritage Month, the Haitian Culinary Alliance in partnership with the Consulate General Haiti in Miami, the Haitian Chamber of Commerce of Florida, the Offices of Commissioner Jean Monestime, and the City of North Miami presents the second edition of Taste of Haiti to help promote and introduce Haiti’s Gastronomy to the community. The free event features chefs, culinary and hospitality professionals from the Haitian Culinary Alliance competing in the Madame Gougousse Chefs Cook-off and pits four chefs racing against each other to prepare the best dish possible in 45 minutes. There will be Haitian cuisine for sampling from a variety of bakeries, catering companies, and restaurants who will have their food available for purchase. General admission is free and VIP tickets are $30 and includes unlimited wine, spirits, and beer and lounge seating. Tickets:
