Die hard fashionistas get ready for the first ever 24-hour fashion show on Lincoln Road this weekend hosted by Giuliana Rancic of E! News and E!’s Fashion Police. The show which will be live streamed on MTV is the world premier of Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show and will feature 1,440 looks—one look per minute—to celebrate The Fabric of Our Lives. Looks will run the gamut every hour from “haute hipster” to “urban chic” to effortless bohemian.”
“There’s a number of reasons why we chose to have the show in Miami,” said Cotton spokeswoman Marissa Barlin. “The beautiful weather, back drop, the fact that it has a huge fashion culture and good retail shopping are some reasons,” said Barlin.
The free show kicks off at noon on Saturday and runs till Sunday with over 50 brands and designers participating. Some are Betsey Johnson, Forever 21, French Connection, Kate Spade, Ben Sherman, Penguin, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger. 24 style icons from around the nation who competed in Cotton’s style search will also be making their way to the catwalk.
Plus, higher end lines Kimberly Ovitz, Elizabeth St.John and Chris Kole will be featuring their cocktail and bridal couture.
Appearances by Bill Rancic, Michael Yo, Cindy Taylor, Carla Fisher are expected and performances will include Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe, DJ Ross One, DJ Joe Maz, Aulden Brown and Juan Mejia.
