Conversations With…Dr. Rudolph Moise

Perforce Group and the Northeast Second Ave Partnership presents another Conversation With event in its monthly conversation series featuring a local community leader. This month’s conversation is led by Dr. Rudolph Moise, a prominent Haitian-American doctor, attorney, former U.S. Air Force pilot, actor, and current Haitian Ambassador at Large. Admission $10.

Black Professionals Summit
Saturday, September 12, 8:30AM – 5PM – FIU Wolfe University Center, North Miami Campus, 3000 NE 151st St, North Miami

FIU Black Alumni presents a full day of dynamic panels, workshops, and discussions suited to developing and cultivating South Florida’s emerging Black professionals and led by local leaders and entrepreneurs. Registration and more info can be found at BlackProfessionalsSummit.com. Bill Diggs, President & CEO of the Mourning Family Foundation, will serve as keynote speaker. Some of the panel discussions you can expect include:

Millennial Life Crisis moderated by the Young Professionals Network of Miami and featuring young entrepreneurs, including Trey Haley, Director of the film, “The Man in 3B;” Brandon Okpalobi of Tibia Athletics, and others.

Eonomics of Politics featuring our Black elected officials including Mayor Oliver Gilbert, State Senator Oscar Braynon, II, School Board Member Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall, Miami Dade Commissioner and Board Chairman Jean Monestime, Councilman Alix Desulme, and State Representative Shevrin Jones.

Our Family Dinner: A Time for Love
Saturday, September 12, 3PM – STK Miami, 2377 Collins Ave, Miami Beach

The social dinner experience that started in New York and now hosted in 30 other cities returns to Miami for another experience for young professionals. Enjoy a culinary treat presented by STK Miami, a Welcome Toast and cocktails flowing throughout the experience. Hush Rooftop Party: A Wireless Headphone Party Experience
