Sometimes you want nothing more than to just find a cozy, intimate venue with nice scenery, a good vibe, and some smooth jazzy music while sipping on a glass of wine. Other days you want a nice date spot or something different from the typical Miami social scene. For days like those, this list of live jazz spots around Miami will come in handy.

JAZZ @ MOCA
Every Last Friday, 8PM – 11PM – Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA), 770 NE 125th St, North Miami

Every last Friday, MOCA Museum hosts jazz under the moonlight on the museum’s lawn. May’s performance features The Creole Jazz Project of Miami, a group at the forefront of the Haitian Jazz movement in the U.S. and have performed with some big names. The eight man group performs live at Jazz at MOCA. Bring your blankets and picnic baskets for fun for the entire family. Free admission.

Live Jazz at the Betsy Hotel
Wednesdays & Thursdays, 8PM – 11PM – Betsy Hotel, 1440 Ocean Dr, South Beach

The Betsy Hotel is known for hosting the best live jazz on South Beach every week on Wednesdays and Thursdays featuring top performers in classic jazz and bossa nova in The Betsy’s Lobby Salon. Live Jazz in Midtown

Downtown Jazz
Tuesdays, 10:30PM – until – The Corner, 1035 N Miami Ave, Downtown Miami

Cheese, Wine, & Live Jazz
Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays – Le Chat Noir, 2 S. Miami Ave, Miami

Jumpstart the weekend at a cozy cellar with a European flair and a menu that includes fine cheeses and wine. It’s a laid back spot with a jazzy atmosphere of live jazz music.

Latin Jazz in Little Havana
Ball & Chain, 1513 SW 8th St, Miami

On any given night, Ball & Chain serves up salsa, jazz, and the most rhythmic music with a delicious menu of latin foods.

Live at LILT
Tuesday – Wednesdays 9PM – 12AM, Thursday – Saturday, 10PM – 1AM – LILT Lounge at Epic Hotel, 270 Biscayne Blvd Way, Downtown Miami

The Epic Hotel’s social scene is always buzzing, and LILT Lounge has added a jazzy flair with live jazz and specialty drinks. The lounge also showcases musical acts and solo performances by The National Young Arts Foundation from Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Live at Soyka
Friday & Saturdays – Soyka Restaurant, 5556 NE 4th Ct, Miami

Soyka has had a long standing run with its live jazz ambience. Have dinner, enjoy a cocktail, and listen to live jazz on Fridays and Saturdays. No cover and no minimum.

JM Lexus Sunday Jazz Brunch @ Riverwalk
First Sundays, 11AM – 2PM – Las Olas Riverwalk, 201 SW 5th Ave, Ft. Lauderdale

Every first Sunday, the scenic Ft Lauderdale Riverwalk is filled with picnic baskets, blankets, and lawn chairs laid out on the grass for the best in local jazz. Food vendors also available as well as nearby restaurants. Free and family friendly.
