The Miami Home Design & Remodeling Show gives attendees access to vendors, culinary demonstrations, instruction for DIY home improvement projects, a chance to experience products and services first hand, talk one-on-one with industry experts and get personalized advice to plan home improvement or design projects.

 

Festival de Cante Flamenco

Sept. 4-6

The 10th anniversary edition of the festival is dedicated to the great flamenco poet Manuel Molina with performances by flamenco superstar La Susi and singer José Mendez, a descendant of flamenco legend La Paquera plus singer Ismael de la Rosa, guitarist Paco Fernandez along with Paco Fonta and dancers Sonia Olla and Celia Fonta.

International Ballet Festival Miami

Sept. 4-13

The ballet world leaps into South Florida with top dancers and companies heading to venues in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Under the direction of Pedro Pablo Pena, the festival presents five programs: International Young Medalists, Contemporary, Ballet Kim SunHee, Etoiles Classical Grand Gala and the Festival Closing Gala of the Stars Performance.  

 

DWNTWN Art Days

The Downtown Development Authority hosts this annual event with more than 100 arts and cultural institutions, galleries and artists offering three days of unique cultural experiences including exhibits, panel discussions, artist-led tours and more. 

Children’s Trust Family Expo

Parents can check out more than 250 exhibitors showcasing health, education, after-school programs, injury prevention, Pre-K registration, KidCare, programs for children with disabilities and social services while the kids enjoy appearances by Nickelodeon characters and family-friendly activities.

Miami Fashion Film Festival

Offering a close and colorful look at the world of the fashion industry, screenings include documentaries, designer brand and experimental shorts, fashion-in-film classics as well as the style-filled movies that have inspired our love of fashion. The Festival benefits Fashion Inspires More (FIM). 

Disney on Ice: Treasure Trove

The Miccosukee Tribe celebrates the heritage and customs of Native American tribes with a Miccosukee Fashion Show, alligator wrestling, arts & crafts plus Native American music and dancers.
