The University of Miami Frost School of Music hosts Festival Miami, a month-long series of concerts, workshops and lectures. This year for its 30th edition Festival Miami brings big names like Gloria Estefan (Oct. 1), Luis Enrique (Oct. 4), Joshua Bell (Oct. 4) and many more.
Fritz & Franz Oktoberfest

Fritz & Franz Bierhaus host the 19th annual Coral Gables Oktoberfest where you can raise your bier stein and party on the daily with music, yodeling and lots and lots of beer.
Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival

Pick out the perfect pumpkin for Halloween at this pumpkin patch in the middle of Coconut Grove. Kids can enjoy a variety of activities like a hay maze, fun zone, rides, inflatables, shows at the main stage, scarecrow making plus more than 2,000 pumpkins.

The Annual Miami Broward Carnival celebrates the pulsating steel pan and soca music, dazzling costumes, sumptuous foods and lively spirit of South Florida’s Caribbean and international community, with an action packed schedule of festivities including a host of Caribbean performers and a two mile parade in the Sun Life Stadium.
Bacardi Columbus Day Regatta

The waters of Biscayne Bay fill up with nearly 300 vessels racing throughout the weekend. After the races, participants head down to Elliot Key to put down anchor and party all night.

Coconut Grove becomes Beer Central at this annual event that celebrates brews from around the world and across the nation with tastings of over 200 varieties, cooking demos, a homebrew contest, live music and more.
Miami Nice Jazz Festival

This extension of the internationally celebrated Nice Jazz Festival in France features performances by distinguished jazz artists Gregory Porter, Jil Aigrot, Stanley plus a tribute to Chet Baker by Elaine Elias. Satellite events bring stellar jazz to the Van Dyke, Soya e Pomodoro and The Riviera Hotel South Beach.
Coral Gables Hispanic Cultural Festival

This event showcases Hispanic song, dance, folklore and art and includes family fun at the Children’s Pavilion, the Artists Boulevard, vendors, live music and a domino tournament.
Fairchild’s Edible Garden Festival

Skip the farmer’s market and turn your own back yard into a vegetable garden with tips from the pros at Fairchild’s Edible Garden Festival. The event features informative lectures, delicious food, cooking demos, plant vendors and demonstrations on how to create a fruit and vegetable garden.

Boo at the Zoo is a family-friendly event that gives the kids a chance to parade through the Zoo in search of candy, enter a costume contest, watch special performances, make Halloween crafts and see the wild animals get their Halloween goodies.
Nightmare on the Beach

The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s annual Halloween extravaganza is one of the places to see and be seen in full Halloween regalia. The fun includes live entertainment, plenty of cocktails, over-the-top decor and a fun chance to support The Little Lighthouse Foundation and local children and their families who struggle with medical, educational, emotional and financial challenges.
