For the next two months, several of Miami’s fanciest spas are offering treatments at a reduced rate of $99. Participating venues include uber chi chi spots like Lapis at the Fontainebleau, The Standard Spa, Biltmore Spa, The Spa at Doral and many more. Each venue has its own menu of discounted treatments, for example The Standard Spa offers the Hamam Spa Ritual – a 45-minute massage followed by the Turkish Hamam rub and scrub and finished off with the Herbal Bath. All that for only $99.

International Hispanic Theatre Festival

Presented by Teatro Avante, the Adrienne Arsht Center and Prometeo Theatre of Miami Dade College, the festival celebrates its 27th season of presenting some of the best theatre companies from Latin America, Europe and the United States in various locations in Miami. On the marquee this year are works by the Urban Theater Movement from Los Angeles, CA; Mexico’s La Máquina de Teatro; Contraelviento Teatro from Ecuador, among many others The three-week festival includes educational workshops and special events like International Children’s Day, a day of free activities and plays that the entire family will enjoy.
The Donkey Show

It’s not just opera, ballet and symphony happening at the Arsht Center. This summer the Performing Arts Center will be converted into a huge shrine to disco with the arrival of the celebrated spectacle, The Donkey Show. Complete with disco balls, barely-dressed divas, roller skaters, hustle queens and a sprinkling of Shakespearean magic, this party will have the audience dancing to disco hits as the show unfolds around them.
International Mango Festival
Where: Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Rd, Coral Gables.
Celebrate one of nature’s tastiest fruits at this two-day festival at Fairchild. Got a mango tree that won’t flower? Talk to the Mango Medics. Want to help crown the tastiest mango? Sample around the Tasting Room. Want to learn new recipes (involving mangos, of course)? The cooking demos are for you. The family-friendly event even has yoga classes and a bike valet.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

Big name and emerging designers take over Miami Beach with a look at their latest swimwear and resort collections. Brands like Agua Bendita, Poko Pano, BCBG Swimwear, Red Carter, Aguaclara and many more will showcase the latest trends beachwear at this five-day tribute to summer fashion. The glam event will bring together the fashion industry, celebrities, media and fashionistas for VIP parties and runway shows.

More than 450 exhibitors representing nearly 2,500 swimwear brands take over the Miami Beach Convention Center for one of the world’s largest swimwear tradeshows. This industry event brings buyers from around the globe looking for the latest trends for the upcoming cruise season. This year also will include lingerie and an expanded selection of designs for men and children plus more resort/lifestyle products and accessories.
