Magique Show joins Faena Theater’s C’est Rouge Cabaret

Kevin & Caruso's Magique is the newest Faena Theater production.

Rounding out their house productions, Faena Theater (3201 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-534-8800) has debuted a family-friendly magic show in addition to a reboot of their C’est Rouge cabaret, which originally opened in June 2016.

Madame Houdini revealing her talent with the straight razor.

Billed as Kevin & Caruso’s Magique, the former is the show’s affable and slightly goofy magician extraordinaire and the latter is his sidekick who has a talent for levitating. They’re also joined by Madame Houdini who, as her name implies, is an escape artist with a penchant for swallowing straight razors. Joined by a cast of lovely assistants, it’s an entertaining, high-flying spectacle that will leave you scratching your head wondering how they did it.

Magique joins the new production of C’est Rouge, a sexy cabaret starring a talented cast of dancers, contortionists, singers and a live band. This time around, they’ve condensed the production into a single 90-minute act and added a dinner theater option, which proves to be just the right amount of time to keep the audience’s attention and the performer’s energy high. Standout performances range from a contortionist who can balance on her teeth to a sexy and playful burlesque act that involves balloons and a group number with a backdrop that mimic the hotel’s beachfront.
