Permeating Le Club’s vibrant colors and bold prints is the brand’s undeniable Latin inspiration. Venezuelan founders Salomon Levy and Moises Hirshbein have infused their Latin American retail background into the thriving Miami landscape — a market they felt had untapped potential.
With Miami’s high-energy and utopian seaside setting, it’s no secret that locals have their mind on the beach all year long. “There is no other beach destination better than Miami to translate Le Club’s spirit. Each print is exclusive, both colorful and sophisticated, but at the same time trendy like the people of Miami,” Hirshbein says.
With Miami’s “work hard, play harder” ideology, style-oriented men need a separate wardrobe for their swanky social lives. “There are pool parties, cocktails at sunset, sailing, etc — why not look sharp and stylish? “ asks Hirshbein.
While Le Club trunks are a wise choice for the single male, the matching mini-counterparts are irresistible — even in Hollywood. Actor Josh Duhamel and his son Axl were recently spotted twinning in matching Le Club Original trunks, giving the brand A-list approval.
The concept of matching men’s and boy’s swimwear for all ages was propelled by Levy and Hirshbein’s motivation to make families look and feel confident at the beach. “A day in the sun can be a fashionable family affair,” Hirshbein says.
The new soon-to-launch collection, SPLASH Le Club 2016, “will be all about water and will translate in surprising prints” Hirshbein adds. With Father’s Day approaching, we predict the beaches will be swarming with Le Club clad dads and their equally suave sons.
