Giuliana Rancic Talks Fashion Police, Label Love and Moving to Miami

Giuliana Rancic was in town with hubbie, Bill to host the Cotton 24 Hour Fashion Show on Lincoln Road. We stoled a few minutes of her time in between hosting to ask her what she thought about the day long runway event, what it’s like to do E! Fashion Police and if she’s finally considering making the move to Miami.

What did you think of the Cotton 24 Hour Fashion show?

I loved it. I think it’s such a cool idea and something that’s never been done before. It’s truly the first reason why I wanted to do the show because I go to fashion week whether it’s LA or New York and typically shows are 5 minutes. I hope we do it again next year.

Regarding your show Fashion Police, do you ever feel like it’s sometimes challenging to break down someone’s outfit without having to offend them?

I think it was harder at first because it’s a racy show and people don’t hold back. Sometimes I’ll go in and think I’m gonna be really nice today. I’m not gonna say anything mean about anybody, but I just look at them and I can’t help it and I’m like what are you thinking? Fashion is fun. I hope people have better things to do than take our comments seriously. I’ve been on the worst dress list and I think it’s hilarious.

Has anyone ever gotten upset with your commentary?

I had been hiding from Ciara because she’s on Fashion Police a lot for good and bad. I went outside and she rolled down her window and started yelling at me and I was like “I’m so sorry you know, I just didn’t like your outfit and she starts laughing hysterically. She really didn’t care.

When it comes to fashion, what are your go to brands? Rodarte, Marchesa, Isabel Marant, The Row and Elizabeth & James. I like Rachel Roy. I wear her Macy’s line on E! News and for Fashion Police I wear her higher end line. I wear a lot of casual stuff when I’m not on the set like LNA.

Are you still considering moving to Miami?

We love an excuse to come to Miami. There’s [good energy] It would be a second home. A place for the winter maybe.

Thanks for checking out our new site! We’ve changed a ton of stuff, and we’d love to know what you think.
