The lowdown: Oh-Em-Gee…the de rigueur Sunset Harbour neighborhood just welcomed Gee Beauty to its crazy cool retail mix. The locally loved beauty emporium recently moved from Bal Harbour Shops to Purdy Avenue and revealed a major facelift (how Miami!). And it’s on a mission to make Miami a prettier place — one face at a time — compliments of its come-hither sister act, Celene and Natalie Gee.
“Gee Beauty is a modern makeup and skincare studio offering world-renowned skincare products and result-driven treatments like our signature Gee Beauty Brow threading service, our Secrets From The Chair makeup lesson, and our Ultimate Oxygen Facial,” Partner Celene Gee says.
The ‘hood: Peppered with must-try restaurants, designer workout studios, salons, bakeries and juice bars, it’s no small wonder Sunset Harbour has become Miami Beach’s new IT neighborhood. And for the fashionista set, the shopping is bar none. Gee Beauty’s neighbors include Barry’s Bootcamp, Frankie, Eberjey, Sunset Clothing Co. and Green Monkey.
The vibe: The sun-filled space exudes a clean and cool feel compliments of an all-white aesthetic replete with warm wood accents. “We encourage our clients to sit back and relax,” Gee says.
The highlights: Choose from a spate of services such as makeup application, eyebrow threading, facials or waxing. Get-gorgeous goodies by Gee Beauty Cosmetics, Ouai, Oribe, Le Labo, Colbert MD, Tata Harper, Goop, Dr. Sebagh, Rodin, Sunday Riley, Vita Liberata and Super Elixir are also in store for both men and women. Their signature treatments? The Express Intraceuticals Facial ($75), Gee Eyebrow Threading ($35 or $25 each with a package) or makeup lessons ($100). “We customize our facials. Depending on whether you want firming, clarity, brightening or smoothing,” Gee adds. Also worth noting? You can now scoop up striking beach bags, clutches, sunnies, bomber jackets and jewelry from Miami and Candadian-based designers to match that gorgeous Gee Beauty glow.
