It’s the first Friday of the month, which means Gables Gallery Night, time to ride the trolley to museums in downtown Coral Gables. And it’s officially October, so you can raise your stein at the four-day Sam Adams Octoberfest in Wynwood.
You can also play tourist and enjoy a variety of attractions in October during Miami Attractions Month. There are 21 to choose from, and bring a friend because it’s buy-one-get-one-free at most venues. Over in Little Haiti at Sweat Records, it’s all about the vinyl and also live music on Saturday night.
Hop on and off the trolley during Gables Gallery Night
There are 19 points of interest listed on the City of Coral Gables website for Gables Gallery Night and the trolley takes you to or near all of them. Friday’s event is from 6-10 p.m. so you’ve got four hours to enjoy all those spots, which include mainly galleries but also Books & Books and the Coral Gables Museum. The event is free and includes wine and hors d’oeuvres at some of the stops.
