Labor Day weekend is upon us so rather than labor, spend quality time enjoying the best Miami has to offer. Salsa your way through Little Havana during the monthly Viernes Culturales/Cultural Friday festival or reminisce about the 1980s while watching one of that decade’s biggest blockbuster films.
There are also great deals on some of Miami’s most popular attractions, including $10 admission to Jungle Island all weekend as part of “Neighbor Day” weekend, free admission to Perez Art Museum Miami on Labor Day if you use Metromover to get there and discounted admission on Sunday to Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden.

Artistic ideas at the Bass Museum
Bring the kids along while you take in some culture this weekend at the Bass Museum on Sunday during the monthly free IDEA@thebass event. Take an ‘80s retro trip with loveable alien E.T.
Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster hit of the 1980s, “E.T. the Extraterrestrial” is the featured film Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Miracle Theatre.
