The Frost School of Music’s annual Festival Miami offers a bonanza of concerts, workshops and master classes through Nov. 7 that will appeal to music lovers of all affinities. The inaugural weekend offers a taste of the eclectic mix of artists on the roster with a concert by pianist Simon Dinnerstein (pictured) performing works by Philip Lasser, Alan Hovhaness and Howard Hanson accompanied by the Frost Symphony Orchestra Friday at 8. Saturday night features a showcase by Latin pop singer Raquel Sofia at 8, and Sunday violin virtuoso Charles Castleman performs work by Bach, Piazzolla and Ysaÿe at 4 p.m. All shows are at the UM Gusman Concert Hall, 1314 Miller Dr., Coral Gables.
