Team USA took home the gold for the first time this year at the Bocuse d’Or, the most prestigious culinary competition in the world (known as the Olympics for professional chefs). To celebrate the victory, BRAVA by Brad Kilgore has partnered with Ment’or, an organization dedicated to promoting culinary excellence to young professionals, to host the winning team in Miami at the first-ever Gold Celebration Tour.

Chef Mathew Peters led the American team to its first ever victory at Bocuse d’Or, the world’s most prestigious culinary competition.

“Having the opportunity to host Team USA’s Mathew Peters at the Arsht Center, one of South Florida’s finest cultural landmarks, is truly an honor. I have participated in two dinners supporting the team and the Ment’or BKB Foundation, but this event will be one-of-a-kind that will showcase Miami’s culinary talent on a world-class stage,” said Chef Brad Kilgore. 

Slated to take place on May 7 at the Adrienne Arsht Centerr’s John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall, the tour will bring together the city’s leading chefs for a culinary showcase. Participants can sample bites by the likes of chefs Giorgio Rapicavoli, Michael Pirolo, Aaron Brooks, Gabriel Fenton, Soraya Kilgore and more, as well as mingle with Team USA’s champions.

Tickets are available via www.arshtcenter.org. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Ment’or BKB foundation, which provides educational opportunities for young and aspiring chefs.
